Lifutso Motsieloa

Lifutso is a seasoned public health specialist with over 20 years of experience leading national and donor-funded programmes across Africa, with a focus on HIV, TB, STIs, and health systems strengthening. Her expertise lies in translating evidence into policy and practice through implementation science, strategic planning, and multisectoral coordination. She has played a pivotal role in shaping South Africa’s HIV response, leading the development and reporting of three National Strategic Plans (2012–2028), coordinating national M&E systems, and advancing differentiated service delivery models. As Principal Investigator for South Africa’s first Biobehavioural Lite Survey and Population Size Estimation among key populations, she has led large-scale research to inform policy and improve service delivery. Lifutso has worked extensively with government, civil society, and global partners including UNAIDS, WHO, CDC, and the Global Fund. Her contributions span Global Fund proposal development, GBVF-HIV integration frameworks, and M&E capacity building across sectors. She currently chairs the Global AIDS Alliance’s M&E Technical Working Group, supporting data harmonisation and performance tracking across countries. Her professional interests include adolescent and youth health, sexual and reproductive health, and the use of digital tools for data-driven decision-making. She brings to the board a deep commitment to equity, evidence-based leadership, and inclusive health systems.

Bongiswa J. Dingani

Bongiswa Janet Dingani is a qualified Corporate Governance Professional through the Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa. She is responsible for developing and implementing governance policies that ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and best practices such as the King Codes. Her role supports the board and senior management through policy guidance, risk assessments, board and shareholder communications, and the maintenance of corporate records. By promoting transparency, accountability, and compliance, Bongiswa strengthens organisational sustainability. In addition, she integrates Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into corporate strategy by aligning governance practices with sustainability objectives, managing regulatory and reputational risks, and ensuring accurate and transparent ESG reporting. This dual focus positions her as a key driver of long-term value creation, stakeholder trust, and responsible business practices.

Keith Edwards

Keith Edwards is one of the Managing Partners at aidTrain and Kaepe Solutions, organizations that provide trainings, technical assistance, risk assessment and management, and capacity strengthening services to organizations working in the humanitarian and development sector. He also works as an independent consultant. Keith has more than 30 years’ experience in the non-governmental sector including project management, compliance and internal audit, awards administration, operations support services and standard operating procedures. He is contracted as a master trainer and consultant at Humentum (a NGO member organization). He is an expert at developing training curricula, delivering trainings, and interpreting the complexities of donor rules and regulations. Keith has managed operations functions at a senior level including finance, human resources, procurement and subaward units, and has helped organizations develop and implement corrective action plans for audit findings. Originally from New York, Keith is based in Cape Town, South Africa. Using a hands-on approach Keith’s focus is on simple, practical solutions to organizations’ operations standards, capacity, audit, compliance and risk challenges issues and concerns. He works with US and non-US organizations to conduct operations assessments, ensure understanding of award terms and conditions and build and implement performance monitoring, compliance accountability and reporting standards for successful implementation of programs. Keith has successfully prepared low-capacity and organizations new to US government funding to become direct recipients of donor funding. He has worked with organizations to develop business continuity plans and management strategies to address potential loss of donor funding due to audit issues, organizational leadership and staff challenges, changes in donor priorities or new organizational strategic directions. He is on the board of Collective Determination and served on the InsideNGO (renamed Humentum) board of directors and on the board of Communities in Transition where he was particularly focused on fiduciary responsibility.
